
Join us to hear conditions and considerations for caring for young athletes in less common sports including softball, tennis, martial arts, rugby and track & field. The program will address considerations unique to skeletally immature athletes.
Objectives - After the program, the learner will be able to
1. Describe injuries characteristics and epidemiology for less commonly played youth sports.
2. Discuss injury prevention and treatment considerations for young athletes who play these sports.
3. Describe mechanisms and risks of overuse conditions in tennis.
4. Discuss how softball injuries differ from baseball injuries.
