Quarterly, the Fort Worth Surgical Society holds its membership meeting and provides a different guest speaker for each one. The guest speaker presentations cover topics and procedures pertaining to the latest advances in surgery and provide ongoing professional development opportunities for learning assessment. The goal of this activity is to enhance diagnosis and treatment in the surgical care of patients. Presentations are lecture format with a virtual simulcast option. An interactive discussion with question/answer period will follow the lecture. Surgical providers including general surgeons, subspecialty surgeons, and surgical advanced practice providers seeking updates in current surgical practices and techniques are encouraged to attend.
