The purpose of this program is to: 1) provide a forum to review and discuss the clinical management of patients and to evaluate issues confronted by today’s NursePractitioners and Physician Assistants in both public and private clinical practice and medical research 2) provide a forum through which current UT Southwesternprotocols and Ethical issues are addressed. The course material will be presented through lecture presentations, power points, case studies, question and answersessions, and video presentations.

This one and one-half day course will focus on state-of-the-art treatment protocols at Scottish Rite for Children (SRC) and current research conducted by the residents, fellows and staff physicians at SRC. The program will utilize case presentations and question/answer format in addition to PowerPoint presentations. Faculty are also invited from across the country to share their research and practice protocols. Ample time will be allocated for discussion between audience and the faculty.
