dianne mendelsohn
Dianne Mendelsohn, M.D., is a Professor of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Neuroradiology Division. Her clinical interests include brain tumors, head and neck imaging, magnetic resonance (MR) angiography, MRI, and neuro-oncology.
Originally from South Africa, Dr. Mendelsohn earned her medical degree at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. She performed her radiology residency at the Johannesburg Hospital, and remained there to receive advanced training through a fellowship program in neuroradiology.
Dr. Mendelsohn focuses her research on head and neck radiology and neuroradiology. Her contributions to the field have resulted in her co-authoring nearly 80 original research articles and other publications. She has presented her findings at scientific conferences and professional meetings throughout the country .
She serves on the Radiology Resident Selection Committee .
Dr. Mendelsohn is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Radiological Society of North America and the American Society of Neuroradiology.
