Brittny Tillman, M.D.
Brittny N. Tillman, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in the surgical treatment of cancerous and benign conditions of the head, neck, mouth, and throat – particularly microvascular reconstructive surgery to treat head and neck cancers.
Dr. Tillman is a native Texan who earned a bachelors degree from Texas A&M University and a doctor of medicine degree from The University of Texas at Houston Medical School. She completed a five-year otolaryngology residency as well as a fellowship in advanced head and neck oncology and microvascualr reconstructive surgery at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, Dr. Tillman joined the faculties of UT Southwestern and its Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center in 2017. She has specialized training in upper aerodigestive malignancy, transoral robotic and laser surgery, salivary malignancy, thyroid malignancy, microvascular reconstructive surgery, and advanced cutaneous malignancy. She has a special interest in sentinel lymph node biopsy for melanoma and high risk squamous cell carcinoma as well as ultrasound guided procedures.
