Tasaduq Mir, Tasaduq Hussain Mir
Dr. Mir was born and raised in Kashmir, India. He graduated from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, Shiraz, Iran and then completed his residency in Family Medicine at University of Minnesota. He then completed fellowship in Academic Medicine at UNTHSC, Fort Worth, Texas. His academic interests include conflict in clinical practice, long distance parenting, chronic diseases, behavioral health, complementary & alternative medcicine and hospital medicine. Dr. Mir is married and lives in Denton, Texas with his wife Sadaf (Associate Professor in the Department of Linguistics at University of North Texas) and his two kids, 13 year old son Anoush and 8 year old daughter Urooj. He speaks Hindi, Urdu, Persian, Kashmiri and English.
