• Describe evidence-based standards for effective diabetic foot assessment and stratisfication.
• Discuss practical and culturally appropriate meal planning recommendations for patients and families living with diabetes.
• Discuss distress and depression and how both can impact diabetes treatment compliance.
• Review the different technologies available for continuous glucose monitoring.
• Identify distinct clinical features of different subtypes of atypical diabetes mellitus, especially the underlying molecular mechanisms of various types of monogenic diabetes mellitus and the unique therapies (precision medicine) for various subtypes of monogenic diabetes mellitus.
