Daniel Stokes, PT, DPT, CSCS, SCCC
Daniel Stokes is a pediatric sports physical therapist at Scottish Rite for Children Frisco. He also is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and certified collegiate strength and conditioning coach. He is a medical provider for Titleist Performance Institute and is SFMA certified. Prior to joining Scottish Rite Sports Medicine, Daniel Stokes spent his strength and conditioning career at TCU, the University of Texas at Arlington, and Michael Johnson Performance. As a strength and conditioning coach, Daniel helped train athletes ranging from professional to youth athletes, working alongside Olympic, NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, BMX, collegiate and youth athletes. Daniel also has experience internationally, spending time in Guangzhou, China working with Chinese Olympic athletes and coaches, providing training programs, presentations, and educating coaches and staff at the university. Daniel Stokes performed his undergraduate education at West Texas A&M University and also received his master's degree at the University of Texas at Arlington. He later went on to physical therapy school at the University of St. Augustine in Austin, TX. Daniel Stokes completed his doctorate in physical therapy at the University of St. Augustine in 2016. He is an active member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Association, and American Physical Therapy Association. His goal is to implement quality care to his athletes by utilizing evidence-based practice to provide the athlete with appropriate movement proficiency in order to reduce the risk of injury.
