Javid Moslehi
Dr. Moslehi is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt School of Medicine. He directs the Cardio-Oncology program, a clinical and research program focused on cardiovascular health of cancer patients. Dr. Moslehi also directs a research laboratory, with general interests that include mechanisms of cardiovascular toxicities that occur as a result of targeted cancer therapies, adverse effects of tumors on the cardiovascular and metabolic systems, cancers that arise from the heart, and the growing appreciation that common risk factors (including genetic mutations) predispose to both cancer and cardiovascular disease.
