Claus Niemann, MD
Dr. Claus Niemann is President-Elect of International Liver Transplantation Society, and has served on committees for The Transplant Society. He has consulted for several governments and countries looking to establish transplantation programs. Dr. Niemann has been the Principal Investigator on several federal and private foundation funded studies, including experimental and clinical research in organ protection during deceased organ donor management and transplantation. He also has served on several federal panels and committees that oversee transplantation in the United States and review regulatory bylaws, including the National Academy of Medicine.
