Sarah Lofgren, MD

I am a research fellow/clinical instructor, soon to transition to a faculty position at the University of Minnesota. My past focus and future professional goals include researching the pathogenesis of depression in HIV-infected persons, the impact of mental health on HIV care engagement, and HIV treatment outcomes in resource-limited settings of sub-Saharan Africa. During my infectious disease fellowship, I have been engaged in clinical and translational research at Makerere University in Uganda.
