Ja Hyun Shin, MD,MS
Dr. Shin completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University Medical Center followed by an AAGL Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She completed additional training in robotic surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center, after which she joined as a faculty member in the Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. Dr. Shin serves as the Director of the Pelvic Pain Clinic and Multidisciplinary Resident Robotic Training. She is also the Associate Director of the AAGL Fellowship Program. Dr. Shin has expertise in performing a wide range of advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures for complex gynecologic conditions. She has presented at numerous regional and national conferences on her special interests in the management pelvic pain and endometriosis.
