Eric Chambers, MBA, BSRT (T)
Eric Chambers is a Chief Radiation Therapist at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Undergraduate studies completed at Texas Tech University where he assisted in a laboratory investigating long term side effects of radiation on animals inhabiting the Chernobyl fallout zone in Ukraine. After graduation, he studied Radiation Therapy at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Following the completion of his degree he stayed on as a practicing therapist for just under two years before moving back home to work at UTSW in Dallas in 2013. In 2018 Eric completed an MBA in Healthcare Management from UT Dallas.
In his time at UTSW Eric has been active in the research and implementation of novel treatment techniques for total body irradiation, CBCT based treatment planning, and stereotactic body radiation therapy. Eric helps to coordinate the Radiation Oncology quality assurance program particularly the technical aspects of treatment planning and delivery. He has an additional focus on developing and deploying customized technology to enhance the clinical experience for staff and patients .
