Eric Chambers, MBA, BSRT (T)
Eric Chambers is a Chief Radiation Therapist at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. His education began at Texas Tech University where while earning his bachelor of science in Biology he assisted in a laboratory investigating long term side effects of radiation on animals inhabiting the Chernobyl fallout zone in Ukraine. After graduation, he went on to acquire another baccalaureate degree, this time in Radiation Therapy, from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Following the completion of his degree he stayed on as a practicing therapist for just under two years before moving back home to work at UTSW in Dallas in 2013. In 2018 Eric completed an MBA in Healthcare Management from UT Dallas.
In his time at UTSW Eric has been active in the research and implementation of novel treatment techniques for total body irradiation, CBCT based treatment planning, and stereotactic body radiation therapy. Eric helps to coordinate the Radiation Oncology quality assurance program particularly the technical aspects of treatment planning and delivery.
