Dr. Anusha Govind is an internal medicine/infectious disease board certified physician currently practicing HIV and Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis care in Houston, Texas at a large federally qualified health center. She completed her internship, residency, and fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. She has a special interest in the HIV population, especially in those with late-stage disease and opportunistic infections. She is also very interested in medical education and working with medical students to help shape and nurture their careers. She participates in IDSA committee activities at the national level, so as to help make an impact in infectious diseases and education at a large level. In her spare time, Anusha likes to spend time relaxing with her husband and two year old son.
