Tyonn Barbera, M.S., APRN, NP-C
Tyonn Barbera, M.S., APRN, NP-C is an advanced practice nurse practitioner, working in pulmonary medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Ms. Barbera completed her undergraduate degrees in nutrition and nursing at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. She worked as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit setting for approximately five years. She then earned her Master in Nursing in 2012 at the University of Colorado Anschutz.
She has worked in pulmonary medicine since 2011 with a special interest in interstitial lung disease (ILD). She serves as the clinical coordinator for the UTSW care center network for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation and plays an active role in research to advance the treatment of ILDs at UT Southwestern.
