Timothy Wolff, M.D. 1983 .; Board Certified by ABPN, psychiatry 1989
Dr. Wolff obtained his undergraduate degree in Biology at Brown University in 1979 and went on to obtain his medical degree at U.T. Southwestern in 1983. Dr. Wolff completed his internship and residency training at Baylor College of Medicine in 1987, then joining the U.T. Southwestern Faculty that same year. Dr. Wolff's clinical expertise is in the areas of adult outpatient psychiatry. Currently, Dr. Wolff serves as the assistant medical director at the Parkland Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic and is a professor of psychiatry. In addition, he is a staff psychiatrist at U.T. Southwestern Medical Center Student Wellness and Counseling, medical director of the Paul Quinn Student Wellness and Counseling Service and serves as lecturer and supervisor of psychiatry residents. He is an associate residency training director for the psychiatry department. Dr. Wolff's research participation has been in the areas of novel antipsychotics, electroconvulsive therapy, and graduate medical education. Dr. Wolff has been honored by receiving the following awards: American Psychiatric Association Distinguished Life Fellowship and Exemplary Psychiatrist Award from the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill. Dr. Wolff is also a member of the North Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians (past president) and the Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians (president-elect) . Dr. Wolff is a past president of the U.T. Southwestern Medical School Faculty Senate as well.
