Beth Brickner, MD
M. Elizabeth (Beth) Brickner, MD is a Professor of Internal Medicine's Division of Cardiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She holds the Charles B. Mullins, MD Professorship in Clinical Practice and Teaching in Cardiology, was elected to the University of Texas Kenneth I Shine Academy Academy of Health Science Education in 2016, and received the University of Texas's Regional Outstanding Teaching Award (ROTA) in 2017. She has been a member of and former President of the UT Southwestern Academy of Teachers (SWAT) since 2009.
She is an echocardiographer and former long term director of the Parkland Hospital Echocardiography laboratory. She now serves of the Director of the Children's Health and UT Southwestern Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program and is the director of the Audre and Bernard Rapaport for Cardiovascular Research in Adult Congenital Heart disease.
