Cindy Marshall, MD
Dr. Cindy Marshall joined Baylor Health Care System in 2011 as director of the Baylor Memory Center. Dr. Marshall has been in practice since 2003 and has a special interest in treatment of the memory, mood and behavioral problems associated with Alzheimer’s disease.
Dr. Marshall earned her medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She completed her psychiatry residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, followed by a geriatric psychiatry fellowship at the University of California Los Angeles.
She is board certified in Geriatric Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurology. In 2012 she published The Common Sense Guide to Dementia for Clinicians and Caregivers, a book she co-authored with Dr. Anne Lipton. She is currently involved in the Escitalopram for Agitation in Alzheimer’s Disease (S-CitAD) trial.
