Andrew Godley, PhD Physics, ABR certified in Therapeutic Medical Physics
Dr Godley earned his PhD in the field of High Energy physics from the University of Sydney in 2001. His research was based on experiments at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland. He continued in high energy physics at the University of South Carolina and Fermilab (Chicago, IL), until 2007 when he switched to medical physics, training at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He then spent seven years as a staff physicist at the Cleveland Clinic where he was involved in all aspects of radiation therapy, as well as teaching medical residents, physics residents and masters students. He spent one year as a physicist at the Miami Cancer Institute in 2018 to help develop their MR-linac and SBRT programs. Since 2019, Dr Godley has been the Clinical Director of Physics at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
