Dr. Zoellner developed a passion for caring for HIV infected patients during her first rotation as a pharmacy student in 1999. After completing her doctor of pharmacy at The University of Georgia College of Pharmacy, she went on to pursue both a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency and PGY2 infectious diseases specialty residency to build an educational foundation for a career providing direct patient care to HIV infected patients. She has worked in full time HIV care since the completion of her infectious diseases specialty residency with a focus on caring for HIV patients in the public health setting. Her clinical interests include maning complex HIV medication regimens and drug interactions. Dr. Zoellner has a passion for teaching and works closly with the UTSW Division of Infectious Diseases where she is a Clinical Associate Professor and the South Central AIDS Education and Training Center in Dallas, Texas where she is on faculty providing both didactic lectures and clinical trainings for those interested in learning more about the unique challenges presented in caring for HIV patients.
