STEVEN I HANISH, MD
Graduated from Northwestern University in 1995 and attended Indiana University School of Medicine graduating in 2000. Resident in Surgery at Duke University from 2000-2007. Fellowship in transplant surgery at the University of Wisconsin 2007-2009. Assistant Professor of Surgery at Emory 2007-2013. Associate Professor of Surgery at University of Maryland 2013-2018 and served as the chief of clinical operations for the Maryland transplant center. 2018 - present Professor of Surgery at UTSW and surgical director of liver transplant as well as initiated the living donor liver program.
