Michael Folkert, MD PhD DABR
Michael R. Folkert, M.D., Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and the Radiation Oncology Residency Program Director. Dr. Folkert earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in nuclear engineering at MIT, including a Ph.D. in Radiological Sciences, and then earned his M.D. from Harvard Medical School. He went on to complete a radiation oncology residency at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, with an emphasis on brachytherapy.
