Courtney Dryden

Courtney Dryden, MPAS, PA-C is a board certified physician assistant (PA) in Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She graduated Summa Cum Laude at Texas A&M University in 2010, earning her Bachelor of Science in Health. She was selected to receive the Distinguished Honor Graduate Award from the College of Education & Human Development at Texas A&M University in 2010.
She then obtained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2012. She served as the interview committee co-chair while obtaining her Masters at UT Southwestern. She developed a passion for oncology during her education with a special interest in hematologic malignancies and bone marrow transplant.
She enjoys serving as a preceptor for advance practice provider students during their elective rotations in the Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic. She assists with teaching the Patient Evaluation Course at the UT Southwestern PA Program and lectures to the PA Program as well. Courtney is also passionate with her involvement in a variety of quality improvement projects within the cancer center in order to improve patient outcomes. She was recently named the Oncology APP Quality and Safety Coordinator at the Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology.
