Barry O'Neal, MD, FACP
I am a semi-retired general internist and geriatrician. I practiced internal medicine in Irving from 1977 to 1999 and then practiced internal medicine and geriatrics at the Dallas VA full-time until 2012. I still am the attending staff in the VA Geriatrics Clinic on Monday mornings. I also attended on the medicine service at the Dallas VA on a regular rotational basis during the time that I was there.
I graduated from Baylor University in 1968, UT Southwestern in 1971, and did a rotating internship at University of Arkansas Medical Center 1971-1972. I spent 2 years in the US Air Force 1972-1974 and then retuned to the University of Arkansas for a medicine residency of 3 years and then came to Irving in private practice.
