Anecita Fadol, PhD, APRN, FAANP, FAAN
Dr. Anecita Fadol is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Nursing and Cardiology, and Education Director, Nursing Cardiology Program at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Fadol is a nursing pioneer in the evolving field of cardio-oncology, and her extensive and unique expertise have been recognized nationally and internationally. She has written numerous book chapters, and edited the "Cardiac Complications of Cancer Therapy" textbook. She is on the leadership council of the Cardio-Oncology Section of the American College of Cardiology . She is a fellow of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Nursing. Dr. Fadol received her diploma in nursing from the CLMMH School of Nursing, Philippines, MSN from the University of Texas Health Science Center, and Family Nurse Practitioner and PhD from Texas Woman's University.
