Peter Kim, MD, FACC
I am an associate professor of medicine in the department of cardiology at MD Anderson Cancer Center. I am currently the medical director of ECG/Holter services as well as the medical director of inpatient cardiac monitoring. My research interests are electrocardiographic monitoring and arrhythmic events in cancer patients. I have a particular interest in QT prolongation from cancer therapies and surveillance for long-term cardiotoxicities. With the development of new targeted therapies and immunotherapies, I have also developed interest in investigation of the optimal method of monitoring the rare but potential lethal cardiac complications of immune checkpoint inhibitors.
