Nicolas Palaskas, MD FACC
Dr. Nicolas Palaskas is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cardiology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center where he specializes in cardio-oncology. Dr. Palaskas performs various clinical duties in the cardiovascular care of cancer patients including outpatient and inpatient consultations, electrocardiography, echocardiography, nuclear cardiolology, and diagnostic heart catheterizations including endomyocardial biopsies. His research interests include cardiovascular toxicities from immunotherapy, tyrosine kinase inhibitor-induced hypertension and vascular disease, echocardiographic monitoring using advanced echocardiographic techniques.
