Nina Radford
Dr. Radford is a staff cardiologist at Cooper Clinic in Dallas, Texas and a research associate at The Cooper Institute. The focus of her clinical practice and research interest is the prevention of coronary heart disease as well as the use of cardiovascular imaging to diagnose preclinical and clinical cardiovascular disease. Prior to joining Cooper Clinic in 2001, she was an Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas Texas for nearly a decade where she was the holder of the Heart Ball Chair for Cardiovascular Research in Women. She received her B.A. from Cornell University, as a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and her M.D. from Mount Sinai School of Medicine where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She performed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine and her fellowship in Cardiology at UT Southwestern Affiliated Hospitals. She is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases. On personal note, Dr. Radford is a proud wife and mother of two young adults and two small dogs.
