After graduating with a bachelor's in nutrition, from Texas Tech University, I decided to pursue a career as a registered nurse. I received an additional bachelor's in nursing from Texas Tech University Health Science Center. I then worked as a RN at multiple level 1 trauma and certified burn centers. I also completed a ED nurse internship at University Medical Center in Lubbock and a critical care nurse residency at Parkland in Dallas.
I then graduated from Texas Tech University Health Science Center with my Master's in nursing - family nurse practitioner. I have been working since graduation, at Parkland' HIV clinic.
