James Finklea, Medical Doctor

Dr. Finklea graduated with his medical degree from University of Texas Medical Branch in 2004. He completed two years of family medicine residency at John Peter Smith in Fort Worth, Texas. Following this he completed his internal medicine training at Scott and White hospital in Temple, Texas in 2009. He then went to Emory University where he finished his pulmonary and critical medicine fellowship in 2012. Subsequently he took a faculty position at the University of Texas Southwestern where he specializes in pulmonary and critical care medicine with a specialization in cystic fibrosis care. He currently is an Associate Professor of Medicine and the Associate Director of the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Clinic.
