Teresa Chan, Associate Professor
Teresa Chan-Leveno, MD, is an Associate Professor of General Otolaryngology in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW) in Dallas, TX. At Parkland Health and Hospital System, she serves as Chief of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Chan-Leveno earned her medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. She completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Boston Medical Center.
She sees patients at William P Clements Jr University Hospital, Parkland Health and Hospital System, the Veterans Administration North Texas Health Care System, and Children’s Medical Center, all in Dallas, TX.
Among the honors and recognitions Dr. Chan-Leveno has received are the UTSW Department of Otolaryngology Resident Appreciation Award and the American Medical Women’s Association and Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Award.
She has authored and co-authored several chapters and journal articles published in a variety of journals such as Laryngoscope, Journal of Bacteriology, Molecular Microbiology, and Journal of Laryngology and Otology.
