David Busch, PhD
My work translates tools and techniques from the physical sciences to solve pressing clinical problems, primarily in monitoring the brain and spinal cord, as well as the efficacy of cancer therapy. Much of my research uses diffuse optical spectroscopies, non- and minimally invasive quantitative tools which enable continuous, long-term measurements. My work has involved instrument design, construction, and control, and advanced data analysis techniques.
