Richard Medford
Dr. Medford is originally from Toronto, Canada. He trained in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases in his native province of Ontario. He then completed a Clinical Informatics fellowship at Stanford University, becoming the first dual ID and Informatics trained/board certified physician in North America. He currently serves as the Assistant Chief Medical Informatics Officer of the UTSW Health System, leading the Resident Informatics Working Group, while working at the intersection of clinical decision support, physician optimization, telehealth and mobile health.
