ForwardAlyson Nakamura
Alyson Nakamura, M.D. obtained her B.A. in English Literature from Wellesley College and her M.D. from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. She completed her psychiatry residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where she also served as chief resident. She currently is the Department of Psychiatry's Psychotherapy Training Director and Assistant Medical Director of Resident Wellness and Counseling Center. Her academic interests include resident wellness, psychotherapy education, and co-occurring mood and substance use disorders.
