I am currently a 3rd maternal-fetal medicine fellow at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. I am originally from Laredo, TX. I attended undergrad at Baylor University graduating with a bachelors of science in education, and went on to complete a Master in Public Health from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. I completed medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and then went on to complete Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Chicago, in Chicago, IL. While at the University of Chicago, I successfully completed the Graduate Medical Education Scholars Track, which is additional training in curricular development and advanced educational techniques.
