David Victor, III, M.D.
Dr. David Victor is board certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology and transplant hepatology. He received his medical degree from the University of Kentucky, and completed residency training in internal medicine at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He followed this with a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology, also at Tulane University, and a fellowship in transplant hepatology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Victor joined Houston Methodist in 2013. He is heavily involved in research and serves as the Director of Clinical Research for Academic Hepatology in the Department of Medicine. He is also the director for Methodist’s Hepatocellular Carcinoma program. Dr. Victor currently holds an appointment as Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine for Weill Cornell Medical College and is the Associate Director of the Gastroenterology Fellowship Program at Houston Methodist.
