Carlisdania Mendoza, MD
Carlisdania Mendoza, MD is a fourth year resident in the Department of Psychiatry. She is in the research track and is a member of the McAdams Eating Disorder Research Lab. Dr. Mendoza earned her M.D. at Duke University. During her time in medical school she studied the effect of intimate partner violence on HIV outcomes for sex workers. Her passion for understanding how social environment contributes and maintains mental illness led her to join the McAdams lab where she studies self-perception in eating disorders.
