Gary Pierce, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Human Physiology, and Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at the University of Iowa. He is also faculty member in the Abboud Cardiovascular Research Center and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Diabetes Research Center in the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and is a fellow of the American Heart Association. He received a PhD in Exercise Physiology from the University of Florida and completed postdoctoral training in vascular aging/physiology in the Department of Integrative Physiology at the University of Colorado Boulder
