Cathy Nakashima, MLS, MBA joined the UT Southwestern Medical Center Health Sciences Digital Library and Learning Center in 2016.  As Research Services Coordinator, key responsibilities include:

• Coordinate department’s literature search and reference services
• Perform mediated literature searches in scientific and medical databases and other authoritative resources to address clients’ education, research and patient care informational needs
• Answer reference questions
• Provide individual/group training sessions on Library products and services
• Present Library orientations
• Participate in UTSW outreach activities
• Develop new marketing materials and tactics to promote the Library’s research, outreach and other services
