Hussein Jaffal, MD

Dr Hussein Jaffal is a graduate of the American University of Beirut in Lebanon (AUB), one of the most renowned universities in the Middle East. With a full merit scholarship, he completed three years of undergraduate education in Biology and four years of postgraduate education in Medicine.
After graduating with distinction from the medical school, Dr Jaffal completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the AUB Medical Center in Beirut. Following that, he moved to Canada and completed a fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Alberta where he spent close to two years in a well-rounded program spanning all aspects of the subspecialty.
In July 2020, Dr Jaffal started a second fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas.
Dr Jaffal authored and co-authored over ten research projects in peer-reviewed journals. His focus is on pediatric airway, voice, and swallowing.
