David Rahn, MD
Dr. Rahn completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern/ Parkland Hospital in 2005. He then stayed at UT Southwestern for a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (i.e., Urogynecology), and then joined the department as faculty in 2008. He was promoted to Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2020. Dr. Rahn has clinical practice at both UT Southwestern and Parkland Hospital and maintains a busy research portfolio including multicenter clinical trials investigating the treatment and prevention of pelvic floor disorders; these networks are funded through grants from the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) and the National Institute on Aging (NIA).
