DIana Martinez, MD

Dr. Diana Martinez is a psychiatrist who specializes in drug addiction research. She is originally from Texas, and moved to New York City for medical school. She attended Weill Cornell Medical College and completed residency in Psychiatry at New York Hospital. Since then, she has pursued a career in academic research, which has focused on the neuroscience of addiction. More recently, her research has moved into repurposing drugs to treat refractory disorders, such as ketamine to treat tinnitus or cannabis for chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy neuropathy.
