Sadaf Charania, MPAS, PA-C
Sadaf Charania, M.P.A.S., PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) in the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She works in Simmons Acute Care, providing symptom management in an outpatient setting.
She has more than 15 years of experience in health care, with eight years as a PA.
She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences and gained experience as a CT/MRI technologist. She then earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at UNT Health Science Center in 2013. Before joining UT Southwestern, she worked as a hospitalist PA at Parkland Memorial Hospital, where she gained invaluable experience and knowledge of internal medicine specialties while collaborating closely with consultants.
Her passion for medical oncology brought her to the Simmons Cancer Center in 2017, where she has been a preceptor to physician assistant and nurse practitioner students.
She was nominated for Physician Assistant of the Year for her outstanding service and patient care.
She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
