M. Edie Brucker, MSN, MPH, AGPCNP-BC, AOCNP
M. Edie Brucker is a Nurse Practitioner working as a Manager of Advanced Practice Provider at Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center where she practices one day a week in Community Oncology in Richardson along with her manger responsibilities. She earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology from Oral Roberts University and a Master in Public Health from Tulane University. After several years teaching at the University level and designing health education programs for children and adolescents, she decided to further her education and become a Registered Nurse. She has spent the majority of her nursing career working in Oncology/Hematology and nursing leadership. She completed her Master of Nursing at Duke University with a focus of Oncology Nurse Practitioner and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing practice at Rush University with a focus in leadership at the system level. She has several years of leadership, management and program development experience and is a speaker at the local, national and international levels.
