Anthony Bavry, MD MPH
Dr. Anthony A Bavry is a Professor of Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Interventional Cardiologist and Director of Structural Heart Intervention at Clements University Hospital. He obtained fellowship training in Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology at the Cleveland Clinic and received a Master of Public Health degree from Harvard University. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology with over 10 years of experience in the field. He specializes in transcatheter aortic and mitral valve procedures. His research interests include hemodynamic assessment during TAVR, ischemic heart disease, acute coronary syndrome/thrombectomy, anti-platelet/anti-coagulant therapy, and fractional flow reserve/intravascular ultrasound. He has performed high-profile meta-analyses on these topics and has conducted numerous clinical trials.
