Christo Philip, M.D.

Dr. Christo Philip serves as a staff physician at Methodist Charlton Medical Center and as an assistant clinical professor of emergency medicine at UT Southwestern Medical School. He served as the director of the intensive care unit and emergency department at Duncan Hospital in Raxaul, Bihar, India for three years before returning back to the US. He has lectured at multiple national and international conferences on emergency medicine in the developing world. He has also published in several journals including most recently in the Journal of Pediatric Intensive Care about the management of the critically ill child in a resource limited setting. He is married to his wife, Melissa, and loves his role of being a dad to 10 children (seven of whom joined their family through adoption).
