The purpose of this course is to inform the audience about the pathophysiology of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction and its manifestation as a geriatric syndrome.

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Understand the contribution of low exercise capacity and age-related accelerated fitness decline toward development of HFpEF
- Understand the prevalence of prognostic implications of frailty and comorbidity burden in HFpEF
- Understand the role of exercise training in improving exercise capacity in patients with HFpEF
