Baer Ackerman, M.D. is an outpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in Plano, TX. He graduated Brown University, Magna Cum Laude, with an AB degree Religious Studies. He then graduated Baylor College of Medicine, Cum Laude, in 1979 and after a Flexible Internship at Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals matriculated to The Institute of Living and Hartford Retreat, in Hartford, CT, for his Adult Psychiatry Residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship, from 1980 to 1984.
Dr. Ackerman is Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and is a graduate of the Dallas Psychoanalytic Institute (now called the Dallas Psychoanalytic Center) in Adult Psychoanalysis.
