I am a Staff Pathologist, Associate Professor (Drs. George and Anne Race Distinguished Professor of Pathology) and currently hold the positions of Associate Director of Anatomic Pathology, Director of Histology and Immunohistochemistry Laboratories and Director of Renal and Surgical Pathology for the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center since July 2012. I am a board-certified Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist by the American Board of Pathology and by the Royal College of Physicians of Canada. I practice thoracic, renal and transplant pathology and have participated as co-investigator and consultant for many research projects in the area of immunopathology of solid organ transplantation, neoplastic and non-neoplastic lung diseases and gastrointestinal cancer pathology.
