Dr. Trivedi is a Professor of Neurology & Neurotherapeutics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where she serves as the Medical Director of Ambulatory Operations and Director of the Neuromuscular Disorders fellowship.  Dr. Trivedi received her medical degree in India.  She completed her Neurology residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Neuromuscular Disorders also at UT Southwestern Medical Center.  She is Board Certified in Neurology, Neuromuscular Medicine, and Clinical Neurophysiology.  She has been involved in several federal funded studies including those on muscle channelopathies and neuropathic pain. She has 58 publications, including book chapters.

She is Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Neurological Association.  She has served on the Nominations Committee of the AAN and the Constitution Committee of the Muscle Study Group. She was awarded the resident teaching award twice for excellence in teaching. She has mentored over 33 trainees thus far. She has been elected to the “Best Doctors in America” and Health Grades Five-Star Doctor.
